The Office of the Fire Marshal of Ontario Critical Incident Scribe Course provides a Critical Incident Command Scribe Course designed for operational scribes, both sworn and civilian, to support leaders who are required to assume Incident Command or Joint Command during major incidents.

About the event
The Office of the Fire Marshal of Ontario  Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit ✇☣☠☢💥 Fire Investigation Services will host a Critical Incident Command Scribe Course designed for operational scribes, both sworn and civilian, to support leaders who are required to assume Incident Command. The course will focus on instruction for members reassigned to an operational role during a critical incident supporting the Incident Commander and various other critical support positions. The IC scribe requires necessary knowledge and judgement essential to assist the Incident Commander and keep accurate records during major incidents like Joint Incident Command assignments, Emergency Operations Centre deployment, major fire investigations, HAZMAT (Hazardous Material) incidents, large scale USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) deployments and mass casualty events.
