Professional Devleopment Training: To protect against risk to public safety, risk to health and safety and overall liability in warrant execution,  Fire Investigation Services must ensure that all actions are reasonable under the circumstances and all risk considerations are evaluated, documented and planned in order to mitigate liability and harm. A risk management plan (operational plan) that documents the process, including identification, evaluation, risk mitigation, planning, stakeholder consultation and impact to public and member safety is a critical decision making process that involves skills development and training.
