About the event
Critical Incident Command and Response: A five-day, customized training program for Incident Commanders, Duty Officers, Scene Commanders, and frontline supervisors who may be required to take command during a critical incident. This course focuses on responsibility over rank, providing the skills, judgment, and decision-making ability needed to lead, plan, and manage police operations in high-risk situations.
The Critical Incident Command and Response course is tailored for the attending learners, and focuses on Incident Command - an essential form of leadership crucial in low-frequency, high-risk, and high-stress environments. We understand the need for ongoing education and training to meet legislative standards. At MRCS, we provide specialized Incident Command training across four key incident categories:
• High Risk Events requiring Tactical Response (even in the absence of a dedicated Tactical Response or Public Safety Unit)
• High Level Search for Vulnerable Missing People or Wanted Subjects
• Public Order Events
• Public Safety Emergencies/Disasters
